Welcome to the French Language Opportunities for Rural Areas program or, as we like to call it, FLORA! FLORA is a French program that is currently being used in elementary schools across New Brunswick. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the NB Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is sharing the FLORA modules with learners in Canada and all over the world through this website.

The modules include a variety of entertaining and educational songs, books and activities. Level 1 is for beginning learners, and the levels progress from there. This program was created by the NB Department of Education and Early Childhood Development with funding from the Government of Canada through the Action Plan for Official Languages 2018-2023: Investing in Our Future. We hope you and your child will enjoy learning French in this fun way!
